Since we were not in school today, we will reschedule the virtual Christmas Program for Wednesday evening, December 16. Please have Elementary students and the High School Music class wear their program clothes to school Wednesday as we will film then. Thank you!
Due to the hazardous road conditions in our District, Stuart School will be closed tomorrow, Monday, December14th. We will make this snow day up on Monday, January 4th.
Dear parents, our PK through 8th Grade and our HS music class will present our Christmas Program via our School Website and School Facebook page on Tuesday evening, Dec. 15. We ask that they come dressed in their Christmas clothes that morning as we will be filming their performances that day. We wish we could have an "in person" program, but wouldn't be able to allow everyone in to watch. The program will be uploaded Tuesday evening and we hope you will be able to find time to log in and watch your children perform. We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!

We are still needing items for the Gifted and Talented Holiday Kindness Collection. We will be delivering these items to area nursing homes next week & would greatly appreciate your donations.
The Senior Class is selling Christmas Candy Grahams. We must have all orders submitted by December 15th. You may purchase a graham and include a special message. All grahams will be delivered December 17th and 18th. The order forms are going home with your children and there will also be extra order forms in the front office.

This afternoon we were contacted by Butner AD and they have girls sick as well as boys. Since all HS girls played in the game Tues night, they must all quarantine until Dec. 02. Since we have no way of knowing whether students grades 3-8 who entered visiting dressing rooms were contaminated, we will be taking a virtual day tomorrow. Students PK-4 will bring home tests as it is their normal testing day. Grades 5-8 are bringing home devices and will receive lessons online. All students except quarantined students will return on Monday, Nov 30. Sorry for the short notice and any inconvenience and thank you for understanding we are doing our best to keep your children safe.
There will be NO HS basketball games tomorrow, 11/19/2020 with Kinta. They will be rescheduled at a later date.

We would like to say thank you to all of our veterans on This Veterans Day 2020. We are unable to have an in person celebration due to the COVID Pandemic. Update on Stonewall Tournament 11/9/2020:
JH Boys will play at 6:00 pm today. The bus will leave at 4:30 pm.
Our 5th-6th grade boys are able to return to school tomorrow. Please remember all devices and books as you return.
High school basketball will play Asher home Tuesday, Nov. 10th at 6:30pm. Each player will have 5 tickets to give to family or friends. Tickets are required to pay entrance into the game. OSSAA and Stuart Pitt 8 passes do not require a ticket. Players do not need a ticket. Temperature taken at the door and masks required to enter and wear except when eating or drinking. Thank you for helping to keep our players and patrons safe.
The High School games vs. Stonewall on Tuesday night, Nov. 10th have been canceled due to Stonewall girls having Positive COVID cases.
