Upon release by the Oklahoma State Department of Education, Senior graduation will be held on the baseball field Friday, June 12 at 7:30pm with a make up for inclement weather on Monday, June 15th at 7:30pm.
8th Grade Graduation will be held on the baseball field Tuesday, June 16th at 7:30pm with a make up for inclement weather on Thursday, June 18th at 7:30pm.
We are having it outside to abide by social distancing and you may either sit in the bleachers on every other row, or bring your lawn chairs to put around the backstop as you would if watching a baseball game. We ask that each student limit the number of guests to 10 each so we can maintain our social distancing guidelines.
Our Valedictorians and Salutatorians will give their speeches but we will not have rose ceremonies nor a slide show this year. The Senior slideshow will be on our website.
To maintain the safe health of all, we also ask that guests not come onto the field or be in close contact with those other than your family members after the ceremony.
We thank you for your understanding. We realize these guidelines seem restrictive and oppressive, but we only have the safety of our graduates and their guests in mind. We are extremely proud of our graduates and wish we were in the “Business as Usual” mode and could stay and hug and visit. Unfortunately, our “New Normal” isn’t all that exciting, but at this time, necessary in maintaining good health.
